The Ryokan Experience

From the ritual of bathing to the artistry of cuisine, every moment at our ryokan is an invitation to slow down and savor the beauty of Japanese tradition.

Kaiseki Cuisine

Kaiseki is not merely a meal — it is a philosophy. Our head chef, trained in Kyoto's most revered kitchens, orchestrates each multi-course dinner as a reflection of the current season. Spring brings tender bamboo shoots and cherry blossom-infused sweets; autumn offers matsutake mushrooms and persimmon desserts.

Every dish arrives on ceramics carefully selected to echo the season's palette. Meals may be enjoyed in the privacy of your room or in our cedar-paneled dining pavilion overlooking the garden.

Hot Spring Facilities

Hakone sits atop one of Japan's most celebrated volcanic hot spring regions. Our ryokan draws from two distinct mineral springs — a sodium chloride spring known for skin-softening properties, and a sulfate spring prized for relieving muscle tension and promoting circulation.

Whether you choose the expansive outdoor rotenburo beneath the stars, the intimate indoor hinoki cypress bath, or the privacy of your in-room onsen, the healing waters of Hakone will restore your sense of well-being.

Rotenburo (Outdoor)

Open-air bath surrounded by natural rock formations, seasonal trees, and mountain vistas. Available 6:00 AM – 11:00 PM.

Indoor Hinoki Bath

Fragrant cypress wood bath offering a tranquil enclosed bathing experience. Available 24 hours.

Private Kashikiri Bath

Reserve an intimate bath for couples or families. 50-minute sessions, advance booking recommended.
